Happy 80th Birthday Symo Senior

Our tireless volunteer chippie, Mr Les Symons, celebrates his 80th birthday at the Red & Black Club this Saturday evening.

Anyone wishing to pop by and buy a drink for one half of our ‘mature’ daily work-crew, please feel free to do so.  I’m told that he isn’t a ‘silver surfer’ so this should be a nice surprise for him!  Much like the attached photo of Les in action – with his trusty side-kick Mr Derek Pethick (out of shot, dripping blood onto Les following an incident involving an unhelpful photographer and a precarious sawing angle!).

Needless to say, our Club is very fortunate to have the likes of Les and Derek propping it up and it’s nice that the Club gets to join in to celebrate their recent milestone birthdays.
