New Development Squad Manager
Tavistock AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Louis Ormston to the position of Development Squad Manager with immediate effect, following a recent re-structure within the club. Technical Director Dave Ottley said “ we are pleased to welcome Louis to our team, and he was the outstanding candidate to emerge from the interview process. He is a talented young coach that shares our vision for the development of young players, and I am sure he will enjoy a long and valued career within the club”.
The Development Squad has had a very successful 18 months since it was launched, with 8 young players having represented the 1st team squad during this period of time in both league and cup competitions.
The game programme for the Development Squad will recommence in January 2024, which will run alongside the players commitments to their various local sides in step 5,6 and 7 football.
